Donald Trump fired Pam Bondi as Attorney General last week. Add that to Kristi Noem’s recent firing from her Homeland Security position and we have the beginning of the destruction of Trump’s Bimbo Brigade. It’s not over yet. Lori Chavez-DeRemer was just let go, but we still have Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, leading the media astray.

Trump appointed Bondi to prosecute his enemies and to make the Epstein business go away. She was able to do neither and that was because the powers she possessed as attorney general didn’t give her the ammunition to prosecute innocent people without evidence. That happens when you live in a democracy.

Yeah, there was this little thing called evidence that no one seemed to have. Something Trump doesn’t appear to know much about, confusing when you consider all of it that he’s had pile up against him in his criminal convictions. One would think he would have to have known something about the attorney general’s powers, but then, he doesn’t even know what the powers of his job are.

He wanted Bondi to prosecute Comey and other perceived enemies, but she couldn’t because she was lacking one very important item, evidence of a crime. She just didn’t have it, and Trump didn’t care but judges do and it just screwed up the whole process. It left Pam without a case and Donald with a case of the frustration blues. So, Pam’s gone and Trump has pointed to his old lawyer, Todd Blanche, who is probably enough of an egomaniac to take a job nobody can do.

It’s been a big week for firing. Pete Hegseth got in on the action by pushing Army Chief of Staff General Randy George into retirement.

It’s the perfect time to be firing generals, right in the middle of a war. If he fires enough of them, Hegseth will be able to make all the wartime decisions himself, and that will be the end of the military superiority that Trump keeps bragging bout.

This week Donald Trump made several insane threats about what he would do to Iran if they didn’t open the Strait of Hormuz to international traffic. Although he never said the word, the nuclear threat was principal among them. When you say you are going to end a civilization, that’s a pretty strong indication you intend to drop a nuke. If Trump doesn’t understand this, it is only one more indication that he isn’t equipped for the job he has somehow managed to stuff his fat ass into.

There is a current debate among observers over whether Trump is so driven by his ego that he makes multiple horrendous mistakes because he just isn’t smart enough to understand that his ego is leading the beast, not his brain.

Chris Christie came out on the ego side in a brilliant one-hour-plus interview this week but although this observer is a big fan of Christie, I can’t believe Trump is as smart as the ex-governor of New Jersey makes him out to be. Even if it is ego that drives his insane decisions, only a terminally stupid man would let his ego drive his decisions the way Trump does. I think that we have to see Trump do something smart enough to overcome the stigma of a bull-headed, ego-driven fool before we can think of him as anything but a lucky, amoral clown.

“Finish the job!”

GOP Senator Ron Johnson said that on the tube last week. Okay. What the hell does that entail? He says it has something to do with getting agreement in the negotiations, but we haven’t got real negotiations. We are bickering with the same Muslim terrorists we bombed a month ago. Trump’s nonsense about ending a civilization aside, we do have to remove the current Iranian government from the board if we want real negotiations. That means carpet bombing specific areas in Iran that have military and political significance. Pete Hegseth ranted about how we had achieved a great victory, but everybody knows Hegseth doesn’t know his ass from his elbow.

Michael Leiter, the Israeli ambassador to the United States, was on Face the Nation, where he tried to sell Margaret Brennan on the story that Bibi Netanyahu didn’t talk Trump into invading Iran. Yes, and I have a quality bridge for sale in downtown Tehran.

Look, the real reason that nothing is ever done and finished in the Middle East is that there are too many hands in every pot. Every problem has twenty solutions but no way and nobody to solve it. That’s because every problem has too many participants with skin in the game. The Israelis can’t seem to come up with a solution to the smallest problem with Lebanon because every time they sit down, they are joined by Hamas and Hezbollah, who have been fighting there for decades and feel they are entitled to a say in all decisions. There is only one solution to this. Eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah. They are both terrorist organizations, and the world would be better off without them. Their absence would also enable the many nations they infect to have a shot at solving problems that are currently insoluble.

The biggest problem in countries like Iran is that the problems are almost always religious, not military or political, and decisions don’t have to make sense. They only have to agree with the mullah. That’s because countries run by a religion and not by a political council of individuals don’t have to display logical decision making. As long the mullah with his tenth century education is happy, the nation is happy.

So, as long as you have religion, you won’t have to involve logic in the way you run the country, and you won’t have to worry about having your laws make sense as long as they agree with the mullah.

Allow Trump’s greatest military in the history of the world to lose a couple of big ones, and that will prove what a dumb clown he really is.

A lot of wild crap was flying around this week. Among the wildest was Trump’s spiritual advisor, Paula White, comparing him favorably to Jesus Christ at a spiritual gathering at the White House, where she praised Trump for his Christlike attributes. I’m not much for religion of any kind but from where I was standing, it was probably the most blasphemous pile pf hogwash uttered by any sober human being in the last millennium. I don’t know what the hell this insane woman has been looking at for the last decade, but it most certainly wasn’t Donald Trump. Or Jesus, either, not if she thinks there was anything at all Christlike about what Trump has done, is doing, or plans to do with the remainder of his worthless life.

Joe Scarborough, a man much closer to religion than myself, called it one of the most grotesque, unChristlike things he ever witnessed.

John Fugelsang, author of Separation of Church and Hate was quoted on Morning Joe that, “The only thing Jesus and Trump had in common was that they both spent a lot of time with prostitutes.”

Truer words were never spoken.
