We have already established beyond contention that Donald Trump is the most foul progenitor of the big lie ever to occupy the White House and probably ever in politics in general. So just to keep his place in history Trump stepped into the arms of his crass followers this week to announce that we are the target of a mass invasion coming at us from Central America; an army of brown killers, rapists and looters who are racing at us through Mexico, an invasion made up of Middle Eastern terrorists, M13 gangsters and every manner of other low life bad guys all infected with smallpox, Ebola and the clap. So to protect our borders from invasion he has ordered over fifteen thousand American troops to the border just before the holidays. To give you some perspective on this, consider that we already have thousands of border guards, ICE agents and national guardsmen, down there doing little or nothing. Add the 15,000 troops being moved to the border and you have a total of more than 30,000 armed representatives of the United States to deal with less than 3,000 or so remaining members of the caravan, of which women and children make up about two thirds.
The caravan is a Godsend politically for Trump, but his lies about it will, hopefully, expose his disgusting use of this situation to advance his political goals. When interviewed on this, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo strummed the party line backing his boss’s monstrous lies about the caravan. If this were a normal honest administration they would be worried about what will happen when the monstrosity of their false creation is revealed, but Trump and his crooks have lied so much they have made it second nature and we know that they will just create another lie to cover it.

Speaking of Pompeo; he completely greased his way past the whole Khashoggi murder this weekend, stating that our government was pursuing the truth in that foul deed but giving not a single item of information that would back up his lies. The reality is that the Trump administration just wants this to go away. The orange liar wants to keep making money on his private oil deals with the Saudis and he and his son-in-law want to hold the bizarre partnership between Israel and Saudi Arabia together.
Pompeo was joined on the same program by Ronna McDaniel, the Chairwoman of the Republican Party. This idiotic clown spent her entire airtime trying to make the point that Trump is a problem solver, despite the reality that he has solved nothing while in office. Her proof of this absurd position is an ad that Trump ran about a Mexican illegal that killed two cops here. This is supposed to show that we must stop immigration. This ad has been attacked by any number of thinking Republicans who have called it sickening because it accuses a whole category of people based on the actions of one man. Her colleague’s attack on Trump and the ad appeared to mean nothing to McDaniel who just forged ahead with her no-nothing approach. Typical!

So what is driving voters as the election looms? Well it’s pretty clear that Democrats are going all-in on health care. Most people thought that the Republicans would be taking advantage of the growing economy. It’s been decades since we had 3.7% unemployment and some people are actually getting better wages. This would normally seem to be a real vote generator but Trump is, for the most part, ignoring the economy. Instead he has totally groveled before his base and is ginning up an almost non-existent caravan of women and children; searching desperately for a better life as his target of opportunity.
Of course the question about this preference is why? Why is this mythological invasion more important to the GOP base than real improvements in their lives? It’s interesting that our southern states are really big on immigration problems when real immigration, legal or illegal comes into this country at airports all over the nation and over the much less fortified northern border with Canada. Of course with Trump and his base reality never enters the discussion. If one thinks logically about immigration, he will realize that it actually doesn’t touch the lives of about 95% of Americans not currently involved in the process. That is even though we are all the children of immigrants. That’s because once those immigrants get here they become Americans, they work here, pay taxes here and raise children here; children that by actual IRS records pay more taxes as a group than any other in the nation.
So why does the Trump base hold immigration to be more important than their own healthcare? It’s one of those questions that puts the lie to every attempt to make the Trump base just as intelligent as the rest of the country because, if you are voting on the 6th and you think an immigrant caravan will affect you as much as losing your healthcare, you are a stupid as the winter is long.
Now it must be understood that many GOP candidates don’t want to talk about Trump’s favorite invasion. But the problem is, every time they speak to climbing wages they have to listen to talk of skyrocketing healthcare rates driven up by GOP policies. It’s no secret that the anti-Obamacare planning is driven by insurance and drug companies, all of which have been helped by the GOP tax bill, which is only piece of significant legislation passed in two years of complete government control by the GOP.

I was watching one of the Trump rallies today and there in the center of the picture was some poor misguided woman holding a sign that read, “Trump Loves Coal.”
All I could think of was, No lady; Trump doesn’t love coal. No one loves coal. Even the guys who own the mines don’t love coal. They did when it was making them big money. They didn’t care that it was killing their workers any more than they cared when they stopped actually mining it and started chopping off the top of mountains to get it, thereby polluting all the waterways of West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. Yeah, they liked it fine when it was making them money but now, that it no longer is a viable industry and many of them are stuck with their coal holdings and some are even being sued for their callous disregard of the people who worked for them and the health of everyone that their industry touched, now they don’t like it themselves. So no lady, even Trump doesn’t like it. He just likes to use it to confuse slightly demented little ladies like you and probably your black lung afflicted husband. I can say this with surety because if he actually liked coal or even just those who dug it he would have already put forth some kind of legislation to help those who have lost their livelihoods now that the coal industry has disappeared. But he hasn’t. Instead he goes around lying about renewing the coal industry when everyone except, you knows it’s dead.

Ronna McDaniels, the already spoken of Chairwoman of the Republican Party wasn’t satisfied with being a fool of on one program this Sunday. After tanking on Meet the Pressshe moved over to This Weekand did it again, on State of the Union,this time talking about how the GOP delivers. What and where? She insisted on going back back to the Mexican criminal who killed two cops who she seems determined to make the extension of all Latinos trying to come to the US. But because she is the pathetic clown she is, she can’t seem to make any kind of a logical argument for it. This guy, by the way, first came here during the Bush administration. Ronna is the perfect example of the incompetent type of flake that the GOP brings to the table. Whether it’s bombers of chairwomen, Cabinet members or White House planners, the GOP has a record of incompetence and criminal activity not seen in this country since Bush & Cheney along with their criminal cohorts vacated the White House after starting two wars and crashing the economy.

And to put a final point on this election, Donald Trump probably the least qualified President in the history of the nation has come out with derogatory statements on two gubernatorial candidates. Selecting Georgia candidate Stacy Abrams and Florida candidate Andrew Gillum, both of course black, Trump trumpeted that neither had the qualifications to be a governor. This from a guy whose old man gave him millions to go into business and he still went bankrupt 4 times. This from a guy who can’t read and has the attention span of a gnat. The bottom line is that Trump is too ignorant and far too uninformed to know what the qualifications for governorship in this nation really are. If he did, he would know that Abrams and Gillum are far more qualified than the bumbling sycophants they are running against. VOTE!
