I don’t know how my readers feel about Andrew Cuomo. I have certainly disagreed with many of his decisions since he took office. But when the shit hit the fan he was standing there on his hind legs, a hero. While Trump had his fat ass on the golf course or behind his Twitter button Cuomo led his State and the Nation in trying to beat the viral odds and save as many of our citizens as humanly possible.
As he was doing this, our cowardly President did what he usually does… nothing!
As Cuomo has been planning and executing the fight against this killer virus, Trump has been airing petty differences as he wanders aimlessly about the Rose Garden and mocks sensible reporters who wear masks.
But today Cuomo found a new target for his ire. He opened up on Moscow Mitch McConnell with all guns, tearing the Bluegrass Bitch a new asshole because of his politicization of the new bill that is asking the Senate to support projects necessary to the function of the nation. It seems that Moscow Mitch has been fighting against these necessary projects and attacking New York and other states in the area for wanting to take this money from the government. Cuomo exploded, smashing the Moscow Bitch for his demeaning political approach to a real problem, pointing out that his state, Kentucky, drains much more money from the Federal Government than it pays into it, while New York sends much more money to Washington then it gets back.
What Cuomo didn’t point out, probably because he was being charitable to an undeserving wretch is while McConnell’s state ranks close to the bottom in education, jobs, infrastructure and almost everything important to its citizens, the worm who walks like a man has gotten richer and richer each year he has remained in office. He came to office with no shoes and he will leave on golden wheels. We can live with that, just as long as it’s this year.

I’ve written a lot about entrepreneurs in this column over the years but in our estimation there is no greater entrepreneur than Elon Musk. The creator of the Tesla and an active participant in the new space race, Musk has been attacked on many fronts over the years, but there is no denying that he is in a class by himself when it comes to any discussion of extraordinary human beings.
I bring him up today, a day on which Musk’s planned space shot has been canceled by weather, because a statement he made should show all Americans the difference between a leader and a phony.
Musk was asked today about who should be congratulated when the mission is finally successful. He stated unequivocally that if the mission was successful all the credit should go to the astronauts and scientists who made it happen and if it failed, the fault was all his.
Contrast that to the gutless punk who sits in the White House and tells us that he takes no responsibility for all the things that have not been done to stop the Corona pandemic. He tells us in each press conference how magnificent the efforts of his team have been and how he has been beautifully successful even as we start working on our second hundred thousand deaths.

Threatening to force all churches to open this week, Trump announced; “we need more prayers not less.” This of course shows how little Trump knows about prayer. If you don’t know how to pray unless you are in church, you don’t know how to pray at all.

In the same vein Fox News showed a customer refusing to wear a mask in a store with the reasoning being that this is a free country and he has a right not to wear a mask. He may have made that incorrect assumption but does he really think his presupposed right also gives him the right to infect everyone around him? Did he really think at all? Does his right not to wear a mask supersede the rest of the people in the room’s right to be safe?

Chris Wallace interviewed Doctor Debra Birx this Sunday and for the good doctor it was nothing but a disaster. After weeks of not standing up to Trump or just sloughing off pointed questions, she finally succumbed to pressure. She was not able to answer any pertinent questions, had no answers for Wallace when he wanted to know why the death estimates were so far off and would not go anywhere near any question that required an answer that would contradict Trump. Birx just disappeared into the woodwork. She is no longer a pertinent figure in the Coronavirus discussion.

And then there’s all the noise about Joe Biden’s comment this week that if you have to think about whom to vote for this fall “you ain’t black.” The GOP is claiming it’s the worst statement since the creation. They obviously never listen to their President. Actually, if you look at it, it appears to be pretty true. I mean this President is the biggest racist since George Wallace. What black person with brain one would vote for him? There’s a reason why Trump got only 8% of the black vote in the last election and that he’s now down to 3% in current polls. So why are even some liberals making noise about it? PC is out of control, that’s why. So let’s not get our balls in an uproar folks. It was a true statement and if that’s the worst thing on which you can attack Joe Biden, you just ain’t got bullets in your gun.

Trump was out there this weekend pushing to open the county, announcing, “This country was made to be opened, not closed.”
That’s not necessarily a bad idea but in order to do that and not kill another 100,000 people we have to act like grownups and that’s where so many of us fall short. I’m looking at pictures of beaches, streets, stores and restaurants where no one is wearing a mask. That’s just stupid. Contrary to the asshole I referred to in the earlier piece you don’t have a right to endanger your fellow citizens. He is just too ignorant to understand that. And that goes for everyone.
Yes, we can have a successful re-opening but that success is dependent on not killing a shitload of your neighbors. Positive tests are still going up all over the country, especially in Chicago, LA and DC. Arkansas reopened this weekend. Governor Asa Hutchinson was on the tube explaining about safety and cautioning against rash behavior but Arkansas had it’s highest day’s infection rate this Thursday with over 1000 cases. Maybe this wasn’t a good week to open up? We’ll see.
I’m an UWS, NYC resident and I have to say, most people are doing the right thing. Most people I see on the streets are masked. The park people seem to be the big offenders. It’s tough. People get out into the air and they want to breathe, but when the parks start to get crowded it becomes a danger not to be masked and of course there are always the loudmouths who have “rights”, I think this is the place where I have to mention that the right to go unmasked is not in the Constitution. I looked, I really did and no, it’s not there.

Trump says he takes no responsibility for anything, that it’s the governor’s jobs to do all the testing and everything else. But when it’s something he wants, he isn’t shy about telling the nation to open churches or anything else. So he’s out campaigning to get rid of voting by mail, screaming that it will cause the election to be rigged. Now if there’s anyone out there who knows about rigging… anything, it’s definitely the Crook-in-Chief. And here he is, once again caring nothing of those who are trying to maintain their health in the face of a pandemic, whose virulence is at least partly his responsibility.
Trump knows that balloting by mail will go against him just as any large turnout will be the death knell for his fetid career in politics. He doesn’t care if hundreds die because they caught something at the polling place as long as they voted for him first.

And once again The Fat Liar in the White House and his ghoulish sycophants are out there trying to destroy the lives of American citizens for their own degenerate benefit. Once it was an attack on the Pakistani American parents of an American Hero. Once it was a refusal to accept the American birth of a black presidential candidate. Now it’s Trump and his disgusting associates creating a scandal in which they hope to smear TV host Morning Joe Scarborough over the death some 20 years ago of an aide, Lori Klausutis whose accidental death was officially attributed to a head injury caused by a heart condition that led to a fatal fall.
Trump, Steve Miller, Dumb Don Jr. and the rest of the coven that worships the Fat Orange Satan have finally broken through their floor and are busy establishing new lows of human behavior, dragging up this unbelievably painful situation, one from which this unfortunate young woman’s family has never recovered and jamming it once again into their faces simply to create a scandal story with which to attack Scarborough, a tormentor of Fat Donald.
It’s one thing for two celebrities to fight it out in public but when one of them uses innocent and vulnerable people to create ammunition for their twisted points of view; they only expose themselves as the dung that our world excretes.

For those of you who still don’t understand, and that includes anyone who listens to the drivel that comes out of the Oval Office, the President is not directly responsible for this pandemic but he is certainly responsible for the incompetent way it was handled. If he had jumped in as soon as he was warned, we might be at a fraction of the deaths we have since suffered. The fact is that Trump was more worried about the perception of his abilities than he was about doing the right thing but that is just standard operating procedure for him.
Still, the tsunami of anger over the way he has failed to handle the pandemic might be far less if he wasn’t sickening us every day by blabbering about what a great success he is, when he is so obviously failing at everything we need him to do.
If only he understood that he can’t get it done and somehow faded into the background, we could at least forget about him in the mad scramble to beat the virus. But he is constitutionally unable to just do that. He waddles into national prominence, a giant orange ball, topped by an improbably humorous mop; lying, self-congratulating and snapping out like a rabid dog, as always, accomplishing nothing.
