So Trump has the virus. Big surprise! This is a guy who was begging for it, who never wears a mask, makes fun of people who wear masks and who constantly leads covens of sycophants, who gather in large, closely packed groups without protection. I’m watching a report where they are discussing possible treatments. How about pulling out that old bottle of disinfectant?
And even as the news about Trump floods the airwaves we are discovering that it’s not just the president but a stream of other GOP intimates that may in time become a river.
Of course the question really is, why is this news? This was inevitable! People in the hundreds of thousands are dying of this disease despite taking all the precautions possible and this bunch of arrogant fools did nothing to protect themselves and less than nothing to protect others.
No matter how you regard Trump and his intimates, no matter how stupid and arrogant you perceive them to be, you still have to worry about their collective health if only because they carry with them the responsibility of leading this country and a good part of the world.
In Donald Trump we have an arrogant sociopath that at Tuesday’s presidential debate chose to make fun of Joe Biden for wearing a mask even as he conducted himself like a baboon on drugs. Even though the rules of the debate were that everyone who entered the venue had to wear a mask, Trump’s entire retinue arrived and took their seats without masks and even when they were given masks they refused to wear them. Little wonder the whole group is now rife with the virus. They were told what to do by the CDC and just about every doctor not bought and paid for by the GOP, and still they ignored them.
Donald Trump listens to no one, understands little and learns nothing. That may not kill him, but it will surely destroy this country.
Then of course there’s the question of how the Trump campaign will handle this situation. Will they suddenly begin to act like a functional operation with some knowledge of how to do the right thing or will they continue on like the ruptured water buffalos they are and do everything wrong? I mean, after all, theirs is a campaign that until very recently was run by a guy who last week was dragged off to a padded cell after attacking his wife and battling police and medics in the street. Somehow he didn’t seem at all out of place, for this accumulation of comic book characters.
Did the Trump campaign contact the Biden campaign and inform them that their boss was now a victim of his own malfeasance? Of course not! The Biden campaign found out about it on news reports. You know, that stuff that Trump calls “fake news.” Well this news was pretty real and it was made that way by the president’s stupidity.
It was Tuesday when Donald Trump mocked Joe Biden for the mask he wears. Maybe he should have worn a bigger one given he was on stage with a moron shedding the virus even as they debated. Maybe Trump should have paid attention to the threat of this virus considering that it has killed over 200,000 Americans on his watch.
No matter what happens to Trump, he is in the vanguard of those who, because of their arrogance or stupidity, are responsible for a dangerous national security problem. When the president of a nation, along with a number of his staff and multiple legislators all catch a disease simply because they can’t be bothered to avoid it, that points to the fact that they aren’t responsible enough to hold office and that they are so childish that they are a national security risk. Yes you can do all the right things and still get the virus, but you have a hell of a lot better chance of avoiding it if you’ve done those right things. Trump and his sycophants never did the right thing. And now we have a lengthening list of the infected that just couldn’t be bothered to not get sick. Or was it about trying to emulate an egomaniacal idiot who thinks he’s above the disease? No one seems to be keeping track of all the support personnel who staff the White House and the offices of those who are now showing up sick. Once again Trump and his self-centered actions have endangered the country.
The timeline of when Trump actually knew he had the virus has come into play. If Hicks was the first to test positive on the plane to a rally why wasn’t the rally cancelled. If Trump tested positive when his minions first announced it why did he go to Bedminster and other gatherings where he could potentially poison hundreds or thousands
of people. It appears that our president is truly a criminal sociopath who cares for nothing but his chances of being re-elected and is willing to put God knows how many at risk just to raise a buck or glom onto another vote. Given such a circumstance it’s more than difficult to feel kindly about Joe Biden’s, heartfelt sympathy and well wishes which he has offered up to our president, the intended mass murderer and his wife. I mean does Trump have to actually eviscerate some poor son of a bitch on 5th Avenue before the assholes that follow him finally give it up?
It’s truly amazing. It’s like the most dishonest administration in the history of the country gave birth to a bunch of little liars in white coats. Why? Why did the president’s medical staff see fit to lie about the president’s condition, thereby turning a medical briefing about his health, something everyone in the nation had a stake in, into a political bullshit fest that just made everyone angry for no reason.
It’s now a fact of life that everyone associated with this administration has acquired the truthless gene and thinks nothing of using it on every occasion.
The president’s doctor, Sean Connolly, refused to give the press Trump’s temperature, lied to them about him being on oxygen and fudged every other piece of information. This might be understandable with any other patient because of privacy concerns, but this is the president of the nation and he has no personal life. His medical condition is the nation’s business. This is especially true since Mark Meadows, White House Chief of Staff reported that the president had been receiving oxygen and that the next 48 hours would be critical. One of these guys is lying. It’s hard to believe one of them isn’t.

On Monday of this week the President told us that we were rounding the corner on the pandemic.
On Tuesday he told the nation that the administration had no problem whatsoever with the pandemic; that they were way ahead of it.
On Wednesday he stated that they were focused and had it under control like nobody’s ever seen before.
By Thursday he had decided that: “the end of the pandemic is in sight.”
On Friday while reiterating that: “the end really is in sight” he mentioned that he was on his way to Walter Reed Hospital, but he was doing very well
This is a guy who can’t even tell the truth about his own health. All the time he was telling America about beating the virus he was actually spreading it to everyone who came in contact with him. The list has now expanded to:
Melania Trump, Hope Hicks, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Presidential Assistant Nicholas Luna, Senator Mike Lee, Senator, Thom Tillis, Senator Ron Johnson, Liar in general Kellyanne Conway, Campaign Manager Bill Stepien, GOP Party Leader Ronna McDaniel and former NJ Governor Chris Christie. Of course that doesn’t count all the people whose names no one knows. Trump will still be lying on his deathbed.
