I don’t know whether you’re for increased immigration or against any immigration at all. Neither position really matters to this discussion because whereas this blog is using immigration as a platform, it’s really all about where you stand as an American and a human being. It’s really about if you will let anyone, let alone the degenerate sleaze that currently infects the White House, act in a way that disgraces you and just about every other citizen of this great nation.
This isn’t about how many people we let in or keep out of our country. This is about how we, as supposed human beings, treat other human beings. This is about a failed, bigoted, racist President treating people, and even more important children, like animals. This is about that same failed President using government facilities and personnel to violate the human rights of men, women and children right here in the United States of America. This is about a cheap crook and con man abusing every principal of human decency simply to advance an agenda that is solely about him getting what he wants, while having nothing to do with any goal that is of any benefit to our country.
But while concerned humans scream to the clouds about the disgusting behavior of those in charge of these detainees, Trump and his white supremacist entourage scream “socialist.” and accuse the Democrats who are coming after them of doing so for political reasons.
If trying to save helpless human beings from abuse by their sadistic captors is a political motive than yes, the Democrats have political motive. But in making those accusations Trump and his coterie of liars are doing exactly what they always do. They obfuscate, they create fantabulous scenarios to explain their own disgusting behavior and then place blame on all who are attempting to reveal their heinous acts.
What’s really horrifying about the degenerate conduct of the Fat Liar in the White House is how he, in no way, seems capable of seeing or understanding the awfulness that his petty desires cause. Thousands of poor, helpless Central Americans, fleeing the most horrendous conditions in their own countries have embarked on an dangerous, thousand mile journey to our borders, hoping against hope for a new chance at life. Here, because of the Trumpapotomus they have been flung into concentration camps and treated like so much human offal.
Reporters and congress members have traveled to these camps to bear witness to the atrocities that are being perpetrated in the name of the US government. They all tell us that what is happening along our border is against both international and US law, but no one seems to be able to stop it. Why is this? It’s because the one person responsible for ending these conditions is the same degenerate responsible for creating them. Trump created these concentration camps and instituted the separation of children from their parents to scare those parents away from coming to our shores.
But still they come. Can you imagine the terror they are fleeing to take that chance? Trump could stop it tomorrow. He gives ICE its orders. They are just bureaucrats doing a job as they are ordered to do it. It’s all on Trump. He can stop it in one minute but he doesn’t want to; he wants to see these people suffer because he is a sadistic monster who cares nothing for anyone but himself and his own desires.
Trump’s answer to those who cry for humane conditions in our border facilities- “If they don’t like it, tell them not to come. It’s illegal”
Once again the Fat liar in the White House is wrong on all counts.
First: it’s not illegal. These are refugees, fleeing inhuman conditions in countries that have failed to some extent because of our policies towards them.
Second: According to US and International law these people have a human right to seek asylum in this and other countries. So once again the Trumpapotamus is lying.
So what was Trump doing while all these atrocities were happening? Well, he was out on the streets of Washington, inflating his already balloon sized ego by ordering that beleaguered city to destroy their streets so he can watch a couple of antiquated tanks rumble past the Lincoln Memorial as jets flash by overhead. Since when have we become North Korea? Trump may be in love with the fat little dictator but does he have to emulate his every stupidity?
Of course the parade was accompanied by a speech. The ego that walks like a man would never allow an opportunity to stand before his MAGA troops to slide by. Now, there’s nothing wrong with speeches, but when one decides to make one, one should really take into account what one is going to say. Unfortunately this little detail seems to have been severely overlooked in the Fat Liar’s attempt at July 4thoratory.
Trump’s ludicrous speech wandered all over the mall, mixing up details from the Revolutionary war and the War of 1812 and babbling about those brave ancestors defending airports that wouldn’t exist for another century. I understand that truth is amazingly low on the Trump “need to know” scale but there are limits even for this administration.
Sure Trump provided a ton of material with which to ridicule him. From his childish need for tanks to his Kim like need for planes swooping overhead, to his just plain ignorance, the speech was an absolute laugh riot. All very funny, all savaged on Twitter but the reality isn’t funny at all. The reality is that we have a clown running he country, an egomaniacal sociopath who is proud to display his ignorance to the world.
Even worse is the fact that we have become so used to it that it will be gone from the headlines by tomorrow. Neither our media nor our citizenry seem interested that the thing that infects the White House is a disgrace to any civilized nation and a danger to the world. That is the problem! If we don’t recognize it, and don’t move to eliminate it, we face the vey real prospect of having it destroy us, as well as a significant portion of the civilized world.
And speaking of this administration; they went bat shit this week when the unemployment numbers came out at 3.7%. Magnums were uncorked; secretaries were groped and all the Trumpateers celebrated. Sounds great right? Let’s take a look at the only thing this administration has to brag about.
The market just keeps going up. Great! How many of you own stock? Oh, really, that few? But if you’re on Wall Street you love Trump, you want to kiss his ring. As for the rest of you, TFB!
And then there are those great unemployment numbers. Or maybe they’re not so great, especially when you figure in the number of people who are holding two or three jobs, or maybe the number of families that need those jobs plus a couple more just to make the same ends meet that used to meet with one good job.
But that’s all part of Trump’s immigration policy or lack thereof. It turns out that the white guy from the mid-west who used to make fifty bucks an hour still does, but he’s doing it now with three jobs instead of one, which means he needs that last job, the menial one at the Golden Arches that used to be taken by an immigrant because no one else wanted it. So it’s easy for Trump to sell his inhuman immigration policy to that white guy because that last job represents his vacation pay which he no longer gets from his principle job which moved to Mexico along with most manufacturing while Trump was figuring out how to build his “wall”.
Right now more than 1/3 of all hourly jobs in the US pay less than $15.00 an hour. Less that ½ of all jobs pay less than $18.58. You can’t raise a family on that or even twice that. Trump hasn’t even tried to address that and it’s going to kill him when all those mid-west white guys who used to work in manufacturing for fifty an hour plus benefits finally realizehe lied. Coal isn’t coming back and neither are those manufacturing jobs because most of them didn’t flee to Mexico. Technology wiped them out and Trump hasn’t even addressed that or how to fix it. His solution is to blame any and all woes on those brown people who are invading our borders. You know, the ones whose lives he is trying to destroy.
