The Governor of Georgia stepped to a microphone on Saturday and blabbed that his state had taken steps to insure that their elections were secure, accessible and fair. Really? Let’s see; secure: I’ve looked through the changes and find not one single item that increases ballot box security. Available: I don’t know where Kemp went to school but in most of the United States available means accessible. No, the whole point of this legislation was to reduce access to voting mechanisms around the state. So Kemp Is obviously more than a little befuddled. And “fair?” This dipshit wouldn’t know fair if it bit his nuts off. The basic intent of this legislation is to be unfair; to keep legal voters from expressing constitutionally mandated choices.
The fact is, Kemp doesn’t want to be secure, accessible or fair. He wants to screw all the Georgia minorities out of their legal right to vote so the GOP can elect more bumbling liars like him. He has already shown us how to rig an election when he beat Stacy Abrams last year. The question now is; can he do it again when she attempts to scalp him in 2022.

The problems along the border are getting worse, mainly because conditions in the countries from which these people are trying to escape are absolutely terrifying, but also because in the past forty years no one in this country has been able to come up with a viable solution to those problems.
Meanwhile the Republicans are yowling about how Biden isn’t doing anything and how conditions for the thousands of kids who are arriving unaccompanied are unacceptable. Well, they should know. Those are the very same conditions they, along with their disgusting leader, created during the last administration. Maybe if they had built the right kinds of facilities when they had the power those kids would have a better place to stay, but the last asshole deliberately built torture chambers for kids who came here seeking a better life only to be ripped from their mother’s arms and used as hostages.
For those who whine that Biden isn’t moving fast enough, the answer lies in the last administration’s failure to facilitate the transition of their disastrous mess to the present administration. These are the same clowns who kept the Biden people from finding out what a septic tank of failure they had created along our border and of course they are the very ones who are now yammering about how Biden isn’t getting stuff done fast enough.
Biden has been in office for two months. In that time he has passed a $1.9 trillion COVID Relief Bill, has the COVID vaccine program months ahead of schedule and is already working on a bigger infrastructure and recovery bill. In addition his people have identified facilities at local army bases that will accommodate the kids. In his first two months in office Donald Trump scratched his ass, farted, groped a couple of staffers and lied about how many people came to see him sworn in. Comparisons anyone?
So far I’m willing to continue to watch Biden and hope he never returns to the old Biden we learned to doubt, distrust and, eventually recognize as a corporate tool.
