The Human Super Spreader

Monday night, amid a blizzard of “doctored” reports from Sean Connolly and the White House staff, would be tough guy if he weren’t such a coward, Donald Trump, left Walter Reed Hospital and returned to the White House where he did the best “Mussolini on the balcony” impression.  He also, because no attempt was made at any kind of masking or distancing, exposed everyone he came in contact with, to a virus that has already killed over 210,000 Americans. It is now pretty clear that Trump is a walking super spreader, the Typhoid Mary of his time, except poor Mary didn’t know she was carrying a dread disease In the last two weeks infection and potential death have followed him wherever he goes and he just doesn’t give a damn.

It’s been obvious for some time that Trump is incapable of holding more than one thought in his head at a time and right now that thought is about winning the election. I’m pretty sure he hasn’t yet grasped the enormity of what such a loss will mean to him but he knows it will be bad.  If any of his lawyers had the guts, they would already have pointed out the possibility of his spending the rest of his life in prison.

The other big deal right now is the Supreme Court nomination but, aside from nominating Amy Coney Barrett, he has left all of that to Moscow Mitch McConnell.

We have a President who is not smart enough to do the job and so ego driven he thinks he has done the job already. In an attempt to give my readers a clear picture of what is actually going on with Trump I have borrowed a timeline of the past few days from MSNBC and am presenting it to you so you can grasp what this moron has done within that same time frame and how his every selfish move has been bad for the people surrounding him.

Saturday:

504pm: Trump hosts Rose Garden nomination of Amy Coney Barrett. Between 8 and 24 have contracted COVID-19 at this event.

7:42pm: Trump speaks at outdoor rally accompanied by Hope Hicks

There follows 3 days of mask less debate prep in small, unventilated rooms with Hope Hicks, Chris Christie. Bill Stepien and several aides who have all since tested positive.

Tuesday:

9:03pm: Trump attends first Presidential Debate. Several members of his family who sat in the audience refused to wear masks. Trump, in what may well have been a calculated move, arrived too late to get tested. Did he know he already had a virus?

Wednesday:

2:50pm: Trump on AF1 to Minneapolis fund-raiser with Hicks, Kushner and Scavino.

7:21pm; Trump to Duluth for MAGA rally. No one with masks.

9:19pm; Hope Hicks starts to feel sick. She quarantines on AF1. How do you do this?

Thursday:

1:07pm: Trump to his NJ golf course for fundraiser. They learn Hicks is positive but continue on with schedule. They know they might all be infected and could infect everyone they come in contact with, but they continue on because they want the money.

5:55pm: Trump returns to White House and starts to get sick.

Between 8 & 9 pm Trump gets first positive test, a rapid test followed by a PCR test.

Now here’s where it gets hairy. They don’t release his first positive test results and Trump instructed a White House official  “Don’t tell anyone.”

More Thursday:

8:29pm: Reports emerge that Hicks tested positive.

9:50pm:Trump asked about Hope and Hannity; confirms he is being tested but doesn’t give results, which he already had.

10:44pm: Trump tweets that he and Melania are being tested and are awaiting results and will begin quarantine but he already has the positive results

Friday:

12:54 am: Trump tweets he and Melania both have COVID.

Friday:

Morning: Trump received oxygen and is running high fever.

6:15pm: Trump choppered to Walter Reed.

It’s obvious that Trump cares more for his image than he does for his life or certainly that of anyone else. While at Walter Reed he got in a car with Secret Service agents, exposing all of them to disease or death and drove around the hospital so he could wave at his idiot fans.  Was that worth exposing his protectors to death? Only if you’re Donald Trump.

Let’s read a tweet from doctor James P. Phillips, MD from the Walter Reed staff:

Every singe person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential “drive by” just now has t be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theatre. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theatre. This is insanity

The presidential SUV is not only bulletproof but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID-19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.

On Monday night after he was released from Walter Reed, Trump appeared on the balcony of the White House and told the American people that it “wasn’t so bad,” obviously the right message about a disease that has already killed over 210,000 Americans.

This stupid son of a bitch has learned nothing and certainly cares nothing for anyone, not his family, not his supporters, not anyone.

So now Trump is back in the White House, a rabbit warren of small, unventilated spaces that will give him a fair shot at infecting anyone who hasn’t contacted the virus yet.

What we have gotten from Trump this week, what we have seen, is a man so bereft of any human emotion that he will do anything, no matter how damaging to the world, to get what he wants. He proved this when he stood on the balcony of the White House, ripped off his mask, dramatically stuffed it into his pocket and told the American people that a disease that had already killed over 210,000 of their fellow citizens; parents, children and loved ones, wasn’t a big deal. That they should ignore it and do what he says. This man is evil incarnate.

And then we had the Vice-Presidential debate. Kamala Harris didn’t attack Pence the way I wanted her too, but it was probably because she needed to say all the things Joe Biden did not get to say at the last debate. That said, Pence deserved to be attacked, if for no other reason than he lied continually and he went overtime on every question. There were two problems with this overtime stuff. One was that it took time from Harris because the pathetic moderator, Page was just too weak to control it, and the other was that he was so God damned boring it almost put us to sleep. How boring was he? Well a fly landed on his head and Pence was so unexciting that the fly fell asleep there. When the fly finally woke up even it was so bored that it just flew away.

There’s no argument, Pence is a pretty good debater, maybe because of his enervating style. He takes all the air out of the room and slows his opponent’s attack but there’s more to it than that.  Both opponents failed to answer some of the questions but Pence did it almost all the time. We understand why. It was because an answer to almost any honest question would sink both him and his fat infected friend. His biggest problem was that Harris sank him on the first question, which was about the pandemic and he couldn’t pull himself out of the muck after that.

Look, these debates so far are a complete failure. They should stop immediately. Trump just wants to get on the stage with Biden so he can infect him the way he has infected just about his whole staff. We shouldn’t give him that. We should just let him stay where he is, buried in his own lies and bullshit and about to get killed in the election.
