The Primaries areComing

The Republicans rolled into Iowa this week, each of them trying to impress the fans, but none of them had the balls to do the one thing he or she needs to win the GOP primary. Attack Trump.

In this writer’s view, if one of them grows a pair and goes after the fat criminal, he or she will gain an instant advantage.

It boggles the mind that a candidate with the horrendous record of a Donald Trump can still be a serious player in an election. It indicates that the GOP voter is obviously driven by something other than logic or reason.

Trump stands up in Iowa and tells the crowd that he will fix the problems he sees in our government in six months. Really? What was he doing in the four years he was in the White House other than stealing from the country and screwing up our foreign relations?

Trump seemingly did everything he could to weaken us on the international scene.  He attacked NATO, he made pathetic statements about Putin and Kim Jung Un that revealed him as the clown he is to any serious observer of international politics. Biden has managed to fix some of the problems caused by Trump, but allowing the nasty sociopath back in office to make the same mistakes he made the first time would be so grossly stupid that even the most fanatic Trumpets couldn’t possibly excuse their ignorance.

So, let’s take a quick look at those who oppose Trump, none of whom have so far shown the kind of stones it takes to win anything.

The major opposition right now is Ron DeSantis who has shown no evidence of being able to stand up to Trump and is busy destroying the economic state of his home state by a series of unacceptable attacks on Disney and any Latino who wants to come to his state to work and live. Extending his state policies to the nation would bankrupt the country and leave us at the mercy of Russia and China.

Nicky Haley; Not a serious candidate except in her own confused mind.

Tim Scott & Larry Elder: I put them together because they are a pair of black men looking to be elected President of the United States by the Republican Party. Really?

Doug Burgum: Governor of North Dakota. Is that in the United States?

Vivek Rmaswanny: a successful businessman with an elevated fantasy life. A very smart guy with some very dumb policy ideas, especially in foreign affairs. Again, not a serious candidate.

Asa Hutchinson: The old-fashioned candidate. Twenty years ago, he would have looked real, but right now he is just insignificant.

Mike Pence: How do you run against a man whose ass you kissed for four years until 1/6 when you managed one act that was not cowardly? Yes, Pence did manage to grow a pair. The question is; where did he find the seeds?

Chris Christie: From here, as soon as he gets in, he’s the frontrunner, simply because he’d make the best president. He has the guts to go after Trump, which he’s already done and he’s smart. The question is can he gain the recognition he will need to be a major contender? Being a regular on This Week didn’t hurt.

Yes, we are a capitalist nation and yes, keeping our economy hot is essential to the economic health of the country. But we have to be very careful that we don’t let our inherent greed take us too far. Some deals are just outside the parameters acceptable to normal human behavior. It seems even worse when they are involved in sports. But then again, is golf a sport?

Jay Monahan head of the PGA pulled off the great scumbag deal of the century this week when he merged the PGA with the Saudi golf association LIV, thereby putting the lie to everything he said almost exactly one year ago when he accused LIV of every crime in the book, including murder.

Of course, at that time he was battling with LIV, a Saudi company, owned by the known Saudi butcher, Mohammad bin Salam and the accusations were aimed at signing a corps of top golfers and turning a huge profit. Now, in merging with LIV he has put himself in the position to make even more money. And in Monahan’s world that’s what it’s all about. What happened to all those 911 families that he was bullshitting about a year ago? What happened to Jamal Khashoggi?

The real answer is that they were only tools in the Monahan bag of tricks. Scumbags like Monahan don’t give a rat’s ass about 911, the families left bereft or how Khashoggi ended up.  All Monahan cares about is how much and how fast he can bring in the green.

But now, he’s not dealing with some sleezy Wall Street type. He messes with bin Salam and this guy will turn him into dog food. It would probably be a just result.

So, Trump has finally been indicted. No, it wasn’t for stupidity, but for an actual series of 37 crimes. But it should have been for stupidity. What did this asshole gain by what he did? He stole and concealed classified documents so he could impress his friends with the fact that he had them. Really? Did this make him a big deal? He had been the President! He had hundreds of these documents in his control as President. But now he wasn’t, and the deal is you give them back and retire gracefully.

But there has never been, and never will be anything graceful about the fat crook from Queens. He is what he has always been, a spoiled preppie sociopath who cares nothing about anything but what he wants at any given minute. He knew he had no business keeping the documents and no real reason to do so. He kept them because he wanted to show he could, no matter what the law, no matter what the consequences. Okay, so he earned this indictment.

There will be a lot of people who will worry about convicting an ex-president of anything. We have heard it before. “We are not a banana republic.” No, we’re not. We’re a nation driven by laws and if we don’t apply those laws equally, they are worthless. Trump must be held to the same standards as any street crook, or the laws mean nothing.

Actually, Trump is just another street crook. Much of what he did was senseless and non-productive, just like this nonsense with the documents.

And don’t forget, this is still the small-time stuff. None of what has gone down so far is treason. That is yet to come. First there is the Georgia stuff where he asked an officer of the state to invent votes so he could cheat his way to a win in an election he had lost.

Most important is the coming indictment on 1-6 which will call him a traitor and seek to blame him for the insurrection by traitors, many of which are already serving time for their actions that day. These are men who waved American flags while attempting to overthrow our government in order to keep this fat pig in office. A study of our history reveals we have hung many for less.

  1. I think this is a case of the “Devil you know.” My fantasy is that trunp gets found guilty on whatever case forbids him to run for office. The trumpukenicans will write him in, therefore costing repugs votes. The same would be if he ran as an independent.
